Ho acquistato questo oggetto ad un prezzo molto conveniente dalla famosa act-labs. Nelle specifiche tecniche del prodotto è riportato un particolare che mi ha indotto all'acquisto e tutto è andato molto bene. Il particolare descritto è che questo modello ha una sorta di scatoletta indicata come il "cervello" del sistema che è in grado di analizzare in modo molto particolare la risoluzione dello schermo. In effetti tutto va alla perfezione!! la pistola funziona bene su un monitor arcade a 15Khz. Io uso da sempre una scheda nvidia e powerstrip per visualizzare il sistema operativo sul monitor arcade.

 

I bought this item from famous Act Labs, it is cheaper and very accurate product. In the technical specifications some of particular jump to mi mind: They say this system have a little box called "the brain" of the gun that is able to detect the screen resolution and  find the best way to work......and that's it ! It works great on a real arcade monitor at 15Khz. I'm a veteran in coin-op restoring, I use nvidia video cards and powerstrip to make them come out on a real arcade monitor. It is possible to "force" an Nvidia videocard to work at 15Khz with any crash, any kind of problem. In my home page there are some tutorials to make the VGA/Rgb cable (from pc videocard to arcade monitor) and how to setup POWERSTRIP (video tweak program)

Per quanto riguarda il famoso emulatore nessun problema! Gli shooters game emulati funzionanno alla perfezione con la light gun.

Nella recente versione del MAME 101 nel menu controllers è presente l'opzione per l'uso della light gun.

 

For the usage in the famous Mame emulator there is no problem at all ! The most of the shooting games work perfectly with this light gun. In the lastest version MAME 101 on the main menu under tab controllers there is Light Gun selection like the following images show

 

La light Gun è una periferica plug and play totalmente riconosciuta da windows. Nessun driver aggiuntivo è richiesto.

 

E' possibile giocare a qualsiasi altro gioco  sparatutto per pc! cio' che funziona sul normale monitor da pc adesso funziona anche sul monitor arcade!!! I gioco con molto piacere a "the house of the dead III "

The light Gun is a plug and play device and don't needs any driver, windows will do all about it ! Full compatible!

 

It is possible now to play any kind of PC shooting games diectly on arcade monitor!! I like" The House of the dead III " :)
